Thank-you to everyone who answered. My description of the problem was badly worded; the water is pouring out of the bottom of the actual faucet assembly where the drain closure control comes down through the sink counter. thank you to everyone who answered. I think I got it fixed now.

Why would there be almost no water pressure after installing a brand new kitchen faucet?

First the sprayer was leaking, so I bought a new one. But after installing it the old faucet started to leak through the cold side. Bought a new faucet, finally got it installed and sort of working. Only there is hardly ANY water pressure. Any ideas?
