if they are raw copper(not Brass) get a bottle of cheap ketchup and apply the ketchup all over the faucet actually smear it all up. leave for about 70 seconds or until you can see the color of copper come back(shinny).

if you feel hesitant about it just try it with an old penny and you will see.
that is how I polish my copper bottom cooking pots.

if they have a clear coat go with the CLR. or toothpaste and a rag

Just wash them thoroughly and be sure to dry them really good with a soft cloth.

They ARE hard water spots. Soap wouldn’t disappear when wet, but they do

They are calcium deposits probably. Get some CLR from Lowes or a hardware store and soak them with it overnight. They should wipe right off.

To bad about the blue, it would have been my first choice. Keeping with the white would be my next choice, and get something for the walls, some art or something, that picks up the antique bronze in the hardware even if it’s just in the frames. Or maybe a grey but a warm grey, not a cool one.

I would probably go with a cream or a pale taupe. If you really want a definite colour then I would go with a very pale muted green.

WRONG WRONG WRONG – If there’s water in the tub while you’re showering, there’s something wrong with the drain! There couldn’t be enough water to drown you in the shower unless you fell, hit your head & your hair stopped the water from draining.
