My Kohler faucet developed a leak in the spout, It was still under warrenty so they sent me a new one. The model we had 59412 has been replaced by 1093052, and although the new spout is the same as the old, the old assembly has a joint at the swivel, but the new one is a one piece, which would appear to require replacing all the tubing, some of which is currently inaccessable behind the sink. Any ideas on how to retrofit the new spout on the old assembly?.
You said "I had a similar problem with a Kohler faucet. I replaced it with a new Kohler faucet and sent the company my old one and they shipped my a brand new one at no cost to me (except for shipping my old one) and now I have a new spare. They have an awesome warranty and they stand behind it."
I know all that, and I agree.
As I said "They sent me a new one". I am asking how to install the new one, which has the same spout, but a different swivel joint.
Yes, Kohler is great, but I need to install the new faucet they sent me.
Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the old and new spout kit numbers.
The old spout kit was Product #: 59412 SPOUT KIT
